Book Nook: The “To-Read List”

I love books!  No Kindles or Kobos for this girl.  I like to turn pages.  I like to use a bookmark.

I love to buy books!  One of my favorite things to do with the BF on a Saturday morning is head to Chapters, get some Starbucks, and browse.  And I usually end up leaving with a new book or two… even though I have a ton of books at home that I haven’t read yet.

Here are the titles that are sitting on my bookshelf waiting for me to get around to reading them:

  1. The Other Side of the Story by Marian Keyes
  2. Stumbling on Happiness by Daniel Gilbert
  3. The Lost Girls by Jennifer Baggett, Holly C. Corbett, Amanda Pressner
  4. The Help by Kathryn Stockett
  5. Matched by Ally Condie
  6. Divergent by Veronica Roth
  7. I’ve Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella

I’m looking forward to going on vacation in a few weeks.  I’ve got my beach reads all picked out!

Do you have a to-read list?  What’s on it?

Sweet book collection K Flem! I heard The Help is a good read. I’ve seen the movie but haven’t sat down to read the book yet. I’d like to catch up on some Sophie Kinsella books, I’m so behind in my reading! Oh well, maybe this spring/summer I’ll put it on my to-do list. 🙂

    • I’ll let you know how The Help is once I’ve finished it. I was super excited when I found the new Sophie Kinsella at the bookstore last weekend. I didn’t think it was out yet! That one’s coming with me on vacation. I read Mini Shopaholc last year in Mexico.

    Loved the Help.
Debating whether to read the girl with the dragon tattoo series on vacation. I’m worried they’ll be too graphic. I plan on reading Divergent and a new Nicholas Sparks book!
    Can’t wait!

    • I haven’t read the Dragon Tattoo series, but I hear they’re good. I also heard the first book is slow to get going. Maybe I’ll read those one day.
